Product Review: Foot Masks
Your feet carry you around all day, every day and sometimes need a little extra TLC than the rest of your body. We also know that finding time every other week or even every month to go to a professional spa for a pedicure can be costly, time-consuming, and nearly impossible for anyone with the professional schedule of a nurse or healthcare provider.
We’ve tried three different at-home foot masks and provided some thoughts on each. Ultimately they all work pretty similarly, using a solution that exfoliates your skin leading to shedding and peeling over the next 10 – 14 days, and much of the final choice on which to use is up to personal preference.
PURE DREAM SKIN SOLUTIONS: Shiny & Soft Foot Peeling Mask
This mask is made up of sheets that exfoliate and polish your feet as you wear them under your socks for up to 90 minutes. The smell is delicious, giving off fragrances of orange, lemon, tea tree and honey – it smells like you’re in a real spa.

Dr. Pedicure Foot Exfoliating Mask
This mask starts off with feet soaking for 5-10 minutes, which loosens the skin. After your feet are dry, you put the booties on and secure the tops around your ankles using adhesive tape. You keep them on for an hour, similar to the Pure Dream Skin Solutions mask, and 10-12 days later you will see the exfoliation start to happen right before your eyes. This mask, as warned, did cause a bit of dryness between the time of using the mask and time of ultimate exfoliation a week later. Mask also comes in XL sizes.

Baby Foot Exfoliation Foot Peel
This mask smells heavenly, like lavender and really makes you feel like you are undergoing an expensive and luxurious beauty treatment. It loses over 16 types of extract that are specifically formulated to moisturize and hydrate your feet ranging from grapefruit, watercress, lemon to sage. This mask works the fastest of all three, with exfoliation happening 4 days after you initially wear the mask.
